Boston Marathon Jimmy Fund Walk

We were so happy to see this sign today. Today was the day we walked the Boston Marathon Jimmy Fund Walk. I began in Hopkinton with my neighbor and friend Kim and then we were met at the 13 mile mark by Joe, Danny and Joe's sister Jen. My aunt and cousins participated in the walk but were done earlier and two other friends walked and started later. I have been doing this walk for nine years and did not think it could get more special. As you walk, each mile marker has a picture of a child who is fighting cancer and tells each child's favorite thing to do and what they want to be when they grow up. It warms your heart to see and makes you pray even harder for that cure to come. This year was more special to be joined by Danny, Jen and Joe. I am so proud of Danny for completing the half-marathon. He worked hard and really finished without much difficulty. He is so motivated to do it again next year. If anyone wants to donate, follow the link. We really appreciate everyone's help to find the cure.

you guys are awespme. It reminds me of the saying by Ghandi. You must be the change you wish to see in this world.
You actually did something instead of like most people saying oh that is so terrible blah blah. I am honored to know you.
