Family Reunion

Part of our weekend included a family reunion with my Mom's side of the family. We were very lucky to not have to travel far since my sister and her husband hosted the event. Their home is right on the water so it was a perfect location for the kids. Their home has a dock that leads out to deep water so most of the kids wore life jackets while by the docks and there were pools set-up for the little ones and one which included a slide. Of course, JiaLi loved the slide:) One of my cousin's brought fishing poles and all the kids took turns fishing and EVERYONE was able to catch a fish--some caught more than one. The fish were immediately placed back into the water. The picture by the table is a photo of all the cousins' kids.(2 were with Mom and Dad) There were 15 under 12. Even though the day was more on the cool side, the kids and some of the adults, including my Dad, jumped into the water. The first photo is the kids jumping with Pepee, and then of course Edward could not be left out. Yes, that is Jenise piggy-back riding on Uncle Mike's back. I keep wondering how his back felt that night. JiaLi really wanted to go into the water and actually did but when she was in the water she would not let go of Mommy's hand. (Mommy was a party-pooper and stayed on deck--Daddy did go in later). It was such a fun day! I had to post the pictures of Jenise and JiaLi taking time to hold the youngest baby there. They were so sweet.
