Dog Walk

Sunday we walked with Auntie Jen on a walk for the Baypath Humane Society which is how Auntie Jen got her dog. We were not official participants but sponsored her and she invited the kids along. To help out with the kids, we all went along. The day was beautiful. The kids talked along the walk about their dream to one day have a dog. The cousins that went do not yet have dogs in their homes(neither do we). The kids all took turns walking Hollywood. The location of the walk was right around the corner in a beautiful park that we could not believe we had never gone. We are definitely going back:) One of the booths was giving away free candy and JiaLi and cousin Rachael enjoyed their lollipops. They had a scavenger hunt for the kids to do along the walk and it was the best thing for the kids. They were so busy trying to find scavenger hunt items, they didn't realize they were walking;) There were two routes to follow. One a 1.5 mile and the other a 3 mile. We were aiming to do the 1.5 mile loop but missed the turn so we were trying to see if a different turn connected back to the location we needed. Joseph, of course, ready to tell us where to go;) The goldfish from Auntie Lisa were a great energy boost during the walk. Auntie Lisa also brought a double stroller that the 3 year olds took turns with in the back. But nothing is better than Daddy's shoulders:) Cooling off in the water. Saying good bye to Hollywood and thank you to Auntie Jen for inviting us along. It was such a great day. Here is a link to her site to check it out. Baypath Humane Society Walk

What a fun time....Get them a puppy (if Joseph's allergies can handle it of course) otherwise I guess you'll just have to visit Hollywood often!

I am putting together a list of adoption books at the new blog No Place Like Home. Are there any you would recommend?
