Get Together With Cousins

Last weekend we had a get-together with Joe's side of the family to celebrate one of the cousins' birthday. The kids just love seeing each other. It is so great that they get to see each other as often as they do living within miles of each other. I remember growing up one of the cousins who was my age, lived over an hour away and for my family that was a long drive. I think I saw her 2-3 times a year but I always remember cherishing the time with her. I love that my kids can see their cousins with such ease. They have so much fun together:) JiaLi got her hands on her cousins' laptop and thought it was the greatest thing and did not want to be bothered. As you can see, she was very focused. (the battery wasn't even working.) hmmmm, is she checking out blogs??? I know one of the first things you read when you start digital scrapbooking is about the quality of pictures. Now, these photos in those standards are horrible--way too dark and they are adjusted but I couldn't resist posting this layout. I might reuse it for an Easter layout that hopefully will come out with a more visible photo.

Look at all of those cuties! When I was growing up, I loved getting together with all of my cousins. We still get together today.

Awesome, your kids are lucky to have cousins so close. Lauren's all live in Florida so we only see them a few times a year. Love the layout also.

lots of fun!!!!! Thats what counts. Love seeing them have so much fun.
For photo editing I have taken many pics that alot would throw in the recycle bin and fixed them with picasa. Its free and its great. The fill light editor would fix all of these, you can adjust temperature etc. It changes to b and w prettier than the fotofusion. Very pretty with no darkness.
