Riding Her Bike

JiaLi and her bike: A while back when we were at our neighbors house, JiaLi was able to use their scooter. At the time, watching her on the scooter, I had in my head to try to get one for her. Instead, we decided on a bike. We could not have made a better choice. Our driveway is inclined--uphill to the road and therefore downhill into our garage. For little legs just starting, it can be a tough hill to get up and the downhill really teaches the reason for brakes;) We also have a bike path in town that has been great for the kids and JiaLi will now be able to join them once she gets a little stronger. It's all she wants to do now when she is out. She came out to the bus stop the other day with her pj's and her helmet:) She is so determined to ride like everyone else--I cannot get over the progress she has made. Of course, it's nice when big brother watches out for you during those times when you get so distracted you forget to use brakes!!
