Popcorn, Pages and Pajamas

A few weeks ago at the younger guys school a Popcorn, Pages and Pajamas evening was held.(I might be saying those out of order.) JiaLi will sit and sit and listen to stories on a normal basis at home, however, on this evening she had no interest. There were varying stories to choose from and the kids rotated through classes with varying teachers reading different stories. The boys chose Liar, Liar Pants on Fire for their first story and the class, when we walked in, was packed. I think that is part of the reason JiaLi had no interest--too crowded. I am glad the boys chose this story. Back in December, the school donated books to our local hospital for the kids and this was one of the stories we donated. I am glad the kids were able to hear one of the stories they donated. We hung out in the hallway with her while the boys listened to the story. They both loved it however Joseph rolled his eyes when Daddy took his picture--are you kidding me Daddy? As JiaLi hung out in the hallway trying to decide what to do, a tumbling act began. No, she does not take gymnastics--this is just an overtired JiaLi. We saved the popcorn for the end to make it a little more motivating to go home. The kids could have stayed all night if allowed. JiaLi also wasn't feeling to well--that's why she has those rosy cheeks. She is much better now though:)

They are so adorable all together. I can just imagine Jia Li being extra busy when she is tired. That is exactly what Caitlyn does. Caitlyn will not sit still for a story at home yet. I can't interest her in anything but GN moon. Jacob was kind of the same way though and he loves books now.

What a great evening. Cute Dora nightgown too especially with the shoes! haha She doesn't have 'slapcheek' does she? We all got that around her age, it is so contagious but not that big of a deal.

I love all her antics too!!
